Congratulations to 8 new Labour Councillors and a huge thanks to our supporters and campaigners. Special mention goes to Julian Price (Covingham & Dorcan), Cindy Matthews (Lydiard & Freshbrook) & Nadine Watts (Old Town) for election in wards where Labour had not previously been represented, and where they have two Tory colleagues. Commiserations to other [...]

I have lived here 43 years, am an IT consultant and am married with three children, all schooled locally. I own my own small business in Purton and am married with five children. My concerns include litter, anti-social behaviour, reduced public transport and standards of housing. People should know that THEIR councillor is working for them.

As if losing £400,000 of council tax payers money were not bad enough we will all be picking up a further £4,000 bill for preparing the long overdue Digital City accounts. After much prevarication we have also been told that Rikki Hunt received £80,000 for consultancy services to the council! Shaw Tory councillor Gary Perkins [...]
