Laura Baker pipped at the post

Laura Baker came within 116 votes of defeating Andy Harrison (ex Labour, ex Independent, ex Socialist Workers Party & now Liberal) for the Penhill ward seat.  Laura fought a hard campaign and gained a very respectable 34.2% of the vote in a 4-way contest where the BNP came last with only 162 votes.  Well done Laura – and good luck next time!
