Way back in 2005 Ward Councillors secured the old Pinetree Nursing Home site on The Circle for community use and to build a new community centre for the people of Pinehurst.

Later this year the Pinehurst library will transfer to the new Pinetrees community centre on the Circle Work is already well under way to provide Pinehurst with an new  modern library service and Internet café both are due to open in October this year with the new centre.
