Victor visits Covingham

Victor visits Covingham

On Saturday 6th March I was knocking on doors with colleagues including Derek Benefield and Michael Barnes (they are flanking me in the photo):  both ex-mayors of Swindon.  We had a very good reception in the roads south of Covingham Drive, and I’m keen to start work locally and at Westmister to help solve the issues raised.

One topic which did come up was immigration.  Its important that the the mainstream political parties have a proper discussion on this as the alternative is the issue being hijacked by the far right.  Please continue to write to me with your thoughts on this or any other areas of concern.
